What is new

The changes worth knowing about, in the words you would use rather than the ones the code uses. Updates arrive on their own: nothing to install, no downtime, and your workbook keeps working through every one of them.

Live now0.61 Only major releases are listed. The maintenance in between is the kind nobody should have to read about.

One-tap answers you can trust from any inbox

The morning brief is now built from the same design system as everything else the agent sends, and a whole class of broken answer links is gone.

New
  • Every brief carries the date it was sent, so a forwarded one still says which morning it is
Better
  • The brief is easier to answer on a phone: bigger tap targets, clearer status colours, and it renders the same in Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail
  • Your team reads All good, Running late and Stuck. The workbook keeps its own wording, so nothing you have built on it changes
Fixed
  • Answer links that worked in a private window but failed for anyone signed in to more than one Google account
  • A brief that lost its formatting in some mail clients

Links that keep working after every update

Publishing a new version used to be able to quietly break the answer links already sitting in people’s inboxes. It cannot any more.

New
  • Answer links are pinned, so an email sent last week still works after this week’s update
  • Your deployment now checks its own links and says so, rather than waiting for somebody to report a dead one

Anything older than this predates HeyPM being offered to anyone outside my own programs, so there is nothing here worth reading. If you are running it and want to know exactly what changed in a specific week, ask me and I will tell you.
